Tell us about the origin and destination of your move, and what motivated you to leave. Share your experience during the relocation process.

My partner & I had been residing in South Africa for an extended period of time & tho had been leasing fully furnished Apts, we naturally had accumulated personal items during our time away from Australia. Kings Removals made our relocation seamless with every hiccup being dealt with on their end with poise, efficiency & total professionalism. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the service that has been delivered thus far. The packers came in and I was amazed at how swiftly yet proficient they handled every single item, ensuring that only those items that were ours were packed and we feel confident that they will arrive as they left – in the same condition and not damaged in any way.

We understand that selecting a reliable moving company can be a challenging task. With countless options available, how did you navigate through the process and find the perfect one?

I did do some research and received a no of quick quotes but in all honesty, when I learned that Kings Removals was affiliated with Grace Brothers International, I didn’t have to think too hard as we have already utilized Grace Brothers and currently have a storage container in Australia with Grace Brothers. So it just made sense. The whole process of dealing with kings was so hassle-free and I felt so confident in their abilities it made my life so much easier in that I could hand the reins over so to speak and not have to fret over every detail and just leave it all to them! It was definitely a huge relief.

Now, let’s dive into the exciting part! Walk us through your moving day. Did everything go according to your expectations and plans?

Moving day was an absolute breeze – I was contacted the day before to confirm the time and how to access the premises. Due to load-shedding, we all acknowledged that there could be some delays etc. However, the team of packers arrived dead on time and had all the materials they required to pack up everything. They moved swiftly through each area indicated and were mindful of items that were not to be packed as they were belongings of the rental property. The packing team themselves were courteous and prepared and extremely professional.

Based on your personal experience, what advice or suggestions would you like to share with others who are planning their own move?

Everyone is different in how they approach, but from my own experience, as I have moved far too many times, I boxed up everything I had wanted to be packed and separated it from everything else that was staying. This would only apply if not everything was to go. That way you’re not hovering over the packers telling them what’s staying and what’s to be packed. It’s just easier to have it all sorted prior. Then if possible place it all in a separate room or area and then designate another area in which they can repack into their own boxes again, away from items that are to stay.

Any last words or tips?

We were quoted before the move and that’s how it turned out. No surprises no hidden costs. I highly recommend Kings Removals and have nothing but high praise for every single individual that I have dealt with in that company to date.
