Moved from Durban to CT in 2021 was the worst service and most stressful experience with many many calls to see where my goods were. They took over 21 days to deliver (they did pay for out B&B for 2 nights we paid the other) and goods were delivered during covid curfew at almost midnight with damaged items and many emails for a refund well that a fruitless attempt.

This company are crooks, I had to pay upfront for everything, I had to beg and plead for some of the work to be done, they didn't do half the work and promised to refund me, it's going in two months and I still haven't received my refund. They just disappeared on me

Paid a deposit and they booked me to the wrong town. Was promised a refund within 7 working days after they realised THEIR mistake. 4 months later and NO refund, blocked my number on their phone and don't answer emails. Beware of this company!!!

Stay clear from these folks. All those reviews about pricing are true. Absolute shameless people to deal with.
They keep you pressing for that 1st deposit. And then they will call you every day and keep your adrenaline high every morning with price changes and full payments.
They change their voices, and everyone is everyone's director. They give all the stories about those directors and keep asking for more money for number of things.
They start very high when they 1st come to your house, you negotiate and they agree to your price easily (big warning there) and then on every occurrence they keep on asking more money till they reach above their 1st bloated price.
For me they promised the dedicated load so that I get timely delivery, but I guess, they did exactly as they planned - the shared load after 6 days instead of next day delivery.
They picked with dedicated load and then dumped on shared load in Johannesburg it self.
They never explained that it's a shared load but kept on saying that the truck is stuck because of some fault. For 5 days, they gave the same story and finally they delivered via shared truck, that's when I could uncover the story.
In addition, we had to spend money on lodging for all those days, which obviously we never planned.
They asked again more money before offloading, because they had to arrange another truck, for which the driver said the company didn't give them money to fill the petrol for almost 6 hours else they would have reached few hours earlier instead of 8pm.
The delivery itself had few boxes broken and spilled, few bag handles broken, nothing was packed or wrapped as they promised. Glad we had our packing done thoroughly.
I really wish I had read these reviews before. The real problem with these moving companies is all of them have mixed and mostly bad reviews, hence, very difficult to judge.
But, for these ones, I would definitely say - please stay clear from these shameless greedy company else every day from the the day of booking is hectic and definitely regretting for you.Read more

This company misrepresented itself as being the courier, whereas the work for pick up and drop off was actually done by third parties. None of the companies took accountability for the mess of a relocation from Durban to Cale Town.
Looking at other similar reviews for this company, I highly doubt that Pro Active Trucking actually does ANY of their own moves. You never know who’s actually going to take custody of your property (at collection, in transit, or delivery).

I used this moving company on the 13th July 2022. It's now the 19th of September 2022 and my 60 year old mom's items are still not delivered. She is an emotional wreck because of this company.
Every time I call them, the CEO [Name removed by Sirelo] keeps saying it will be delivered. It's just lies upon lies.
I've used legal aid and served them a letter of demand, which they are completely not phased about. It's been past the 2 weeks since the letter was sent to them. No response, no call backs.
I fear this is adversely affecting my mom's health. She has already lost a child (my sister), whos items and ashes are amongst the items that these movers are keeping ransom.
I will continue using the law to make this comapny accountable for their actions.
