Review for Moving Truck Company: Careful Removers
What a disappointment!
Careful Removers was scheduled to pick up our moving load on 30 December 2024, but they only arrived three days later—two hours past the rescheduled time.
From the very beginning, their communication was appalling. The office did not respond to calls, and the truck drivers were equally unresponsive. Upon arrival, the drivers insisted on using our home for showering and demanded food, which was unprofessional and unacceptable.
The situation worsened when the drivers mentioned their truck was not compliant with road regulations and feared being stopped by the police. To add to the chaos, they later reported a flat tire, delaying our move even further.
My husband was supposed to start his job in Nelspruit on 2 January 2024, and I drove ahead on 30 December to meet the truck, expecting delivery within the agreed 24-hour timeframe. It is now five days later, and the delivery is still delayed. The company cannot provide a delivery time or even confirm the correct delivery address.
The poor communication and lack of professionalism from both the office staff and the drivers are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with other moving companies.
I will never use Careful Removers again and will never recommend them to anyone. Their service is completely unreliable and unprofessional.Read more

Shocking attitude from [Name removed by Sirelo] when I submitted an insurance claim for my desk which was damaged beyond repair while in transit. He refused to push it forward because of my honest review of the poor experience in a Google review. Careful Movers are a fraudulent company and have no concept of customer care. [Name removed by Sirelo] has an attitude problem.

COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. TWO MONTHS LATER I STILL DON’T HAVE MY STUFF.
Seriously, if you care about your stuff, avoid this company.
I paid them [Name removed by Sirelo] in full, they didn’t show up or even update me on delivery day, and then he avoided my calls for days. They have 3 numbers, including a “24/7” number, and not one of those numbers answered. Then I got a call from a totally different company telling me they had my stuff, and then that company also didn’t deliver on time, and proceeded to ghost me as well.
Both of these companies avoided my calls, but the moment I called from my wife’s phone, they answered.
It took them 2 weeks to deliver most of my stuff, instead of the 3-4 days they promised. And those two weeks were filled with unmet promises and them never answering my calls or calling back when they said they will. My plants came almost 2 weeks later, and they were ruined. It’s now been 2 months, I still haven’t got all my stuff, and they have ghosted me again.
Seriously, hiring this company was a huge mistake.
The people I dealt with were [Name removed by Sirelo], and the company he gave my stuff to was “Bulls Removals” - the dude on that side is [Name removed by Sirelo]. Their service was just as awful as Careful Movers.Read more

If possible I would actually like to give a negative rating, the service was that bad. First issue was they picked up our items in one truck and moved it to another truck without any communication before delivering the items. During this process many items were damaged as there was no care taken, boxes were thrown upside down, our lounge chair was broken, the washing machine was dented, the fridge handle was broken, and many other fragile items were damaged beyond repair.
We paid extra to get R100 000 worth of insurance in the event something like this happened to which we are told they are not willing to cover it. The business also refuses to take my calls now that they are aware of this issue.

The movers did a great job. They took good care of my belongings and made sure they were wrapped up in and crated. I was pleased with how the move went.
