This service was a life saver for our group traveling to Botswana in the middle of our Cape Town visit. Frieda picked up our luggage and delivered it to us when we returned. She was professional and prompt and even went out of her way to retrieve a pair of earrings I had left at our AirBnB. They were passed on to me by my late mother and are invaluable. I will never forget her kindness.

Super service in the heart of the V&A. A life saver as we had ten hours between vacating our accommodation and our flight. So we dropped off our four bags at 10am and collected them at 5pm meaning we could squeeze another packed day of holiday in.

Mariette and her team are absolutely excellent. I actually contacted Mariette from the UK ahead of a planned one month trip when I suddenly recognised that a trip that was starting with a week in CT, followed by two weeks of safari and ending with a week in the Seychelles was fraught with difficulties because of the 15kg weight restriction for the safari leg of the trip. I therefore needed to be confident that I could safely transport a 30kg suitcase after our stay in Cape Town up to our planned hotel in Jo’burg two weeks later prior to leaving for the Seychelles. Mariette calmly assured me that this would be no problem and we tied up as much of the detail as possible before our departure from the UK. We met with Sinowa who was really helpful and reassuring when we arrived in Cape Town. Mariette and the team kept us fully informed whilst we were on safari, providing tracking details, updates and finally the contact name of the Concierge once the suitcase was delivered to the hotel in Jo’burg. We were delighted to be reacquainted with our case on check-in and to get out of our safari gear. We cannot thank or recommend Mariette and her team highly enough. Excess Luggage is a great service and conveniently located at the Waterfront. I have used their service twice now and they take care of everything--from packaging to complying with European customs requirements. They always make the process smooth and easy. Sinawo is very kind and helpful and helped with all the details.

Excellent service. Upon reading other reviews I found Artvark, a renown shop in Kalkbay whose owner went to university with me, had only praise for this service and uses it often. The sales rep Sinawo Nkonyane, whom I dealt with from start to end, is a supremely professional communicator. She cheerfully advised and reassured me from before receiving my 50kg of luggage until now when it has been delivered overseas. Thank you. Well done.
