Warning Please stay away for EFI removals. They are the worst company to entrust your belongings with. I moved from Ballito to Johannesburg and just by using this company and all their promises I have incurred the biggest lost of my life. Yes their quotation came in the lowest but lost thousands of rands in the process. A few of my boxes with extremly very valuable items went missing and instead I received other people's boxes. A few other things were also not delivered. They also broke so my TV unit and lost the doors. I have left so many messaged for the supervisor called [Name removed by Sirelo] to contact me and I'm just being ignored. It's was the worst moving experience ever. Please rather shop around BUT do not use this company.

It is a pitty there is not an option to give them no stars. I am a firm believer of giving the little guy a chance to make some money.
I contacted [Name removed by Sirelo] from EFI and was sent a quote of +/-R5000.00 to have my furniture moved from Johannesburg to George. They sent an Hyundai H100 to collect my furniture which way to small.
While i was speaking to [Name removed by Sirelo] from EFI on the phone the guys he sent was going through my boxes to see what was inside them. I then chased them away and refused for my stuff to be transported by them.
The next day [Name removed by Sirelo] arranged for a truck to stop and they started loading my items. I was told in writing my items will be delivered by the wnd of the week. 5 days from when it was collected.
Friday came end went with no reaponse from [Name removed by Sirelo], at this stage all he did was ignore my calls and ignore my messages. I finally got his Managers number. But it went from bad to worst.
3 weeks later my furniture arrived with no explination or apology. Then all of a sudden my new Invoice was R11000.00 before they offload. I had to pay the balance immediately. They then started off loading. The next day i started unpacking and noticed that there were a lot of items damaged and lots of items missing.
I informed Name removed by Sirelo] of this and he said he will get back to me. Again i had to follow up about 10 times to get an answer. He then told me they located 3 of my missing items and will have them delivered. But no word on the 8other missing items.
I requested the documents to claim from the their insurance because i had R250 000.00 insurance as per my quote. But I got ignored again. I have sent messages and have called numerous times and i get ignored.
I have more the R30 000.00 worh of damages and missing items and they feel absolutely nothing for their customers. Stay away from these theives and use a proper companyRead more

If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would rate EFI removals .do yourself a favor and don't use them ,save yourself money they will rush to pick up your furniture and store it when it was supposed to be delivered to give their thieving staff a good chance at going through your belongings and choosing whatever they want for themselves with no scum cells ,with a so called manager who doesn't bother to answer messages or calls ,he does not care that his staff are a bunch of thieves .they will deliver your furniture late and not on the agreed upon date which will cost you money for accomodation then their last dishonest thieving tactic is to send a truck bigger than your complex would allow in order to get more money from you ,never have I encountered such a pathetic dishonest service and this is my 3rd time having moved long distance. I hope this company gets what it deserves and that is to be crippled for the pathetic disgusting way you choose to do business !!!!!! Breach of contract by positive malperformance !!!!Read more

I wish I could rate this company with a zero, I paid them to move my furniture from Rustenburg to Kwazulu-natal. Paid them in full only for these guys to damage my furniture and ignore all my emails and WhatsApp. They're small trucking company who can't keep seem to handle long distance moves. They're trucks are old and can't climb steep hills to deliver directly to your doorstep.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. My belongings were supposed to be delivered within 4 days after being collected on 31 October, but it’s now been two full weeks and only today my stuff arrived (14 November 2024). I was also informed that I need to pay R1,200 extra because their truck is too large for my gate—an issue that should have been anticipated. On top of that, I’m now being charged R3,200 more than originally quoted. This delay has forced me into extra, unplanned expenses, and I feel the added charges are unfair and unethical. I regret choosing this company and wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. They might be cheaper than others but it’s only a scam because at the end of the day they will add extra costs, for your own peace of mind as a customer DO NOT USE EFI REMOBALS you will not regret it.

I unfortunately ignored the reviews of people who said [Name removed by Sirelo] becomes rude when 'confronted', and that was exactly what happened. We had regularly had fruitful discussions while we were negotiating, but when delivering, he was actually abusive and refused to allow the drivers (of a different company than EFI) to offload the stuff before I made payment. I wanted to inspect the goods to see if it was all there and in good order, but he threatened to call them back and actually accused me of driving away without paying when the goods were offloaded. Businessman, no way!!! What about customer goodwill? Cheap in this case was definitely not better
