Eddies team were very efficient packers, but in the process they stole every piece of silver from our home.!

We used Eddies to pack, transport and unpack our household goods when we moved to our new home. The team was efficient in packing, except we discovered after unpacking that our silverware from more than one room of our old home had been stolen and management has been decidedly disinterested in pursuing the issue. We don't recommend that you use this company.

Don’t use this company. I have never received such dismissal service and lake of care. From the first meeting with the rep that came to give me a quote who arrived a hour and a half late blaming the rain. Really, if you can’t drive in the rain leave a half an hour earlier to be on time. The day they packed up my house they were 2 hours late did a half job and told me they would finish on the day we moved. On the day we moved they were 2 hours late, the truck was packed and by the time we were ready to leave they were still packing. They then had to unpack in the new house they did not know what they were doing that I asked them to leave and had to do it myself after paying for this service. I had a box go missing and I know exactly what was in the box as my husband had brought the last things down to them that they had not packed. When I contacted them they basically told me it’s not their problem.

What a fantastic company & people to deal with , accommodating and budget friendly , excellent care in moving all my stuff into our new home , friendly , reliable & professional staff . Thank you guys so much for being so awesome and helping reduce all the stress of a hectic move . Would highly recommend 👌

As movers they are really great. I have used them for many years and for many moves. Administration is however quite dismal. They offer storage services too. You can buy cartons (new and used ones too for R20) along with packaging tape, bubble wrap etc. The teams seem to be consistent which is great as other removal companies are known for picking guys up on the side if the road for a day's work where no background is checks are done.

I am quick to compliment good service, so it's only fair to recognize poor service too. I am disappoint ointed by the poor quality of service I've received from Eddies, throughout the entire storage / moving / delivery process. I've had hassles with my accounts, they broke my table during moving (which they did fix free of charge) but didn't apologize or keep me informed on when it would be ready. They don't deliver at the agreed upon time and fail to keep their admin & database up to date - they didn't call me - the account payer - they phoned my mom who was the account payer more than a year ago.
