16He lied to us all the way re the storage of our goods, the condition of our newly refurbished furniture, the quality of packing, demanded more money from us to pay his unpaid bills.
Our goods arrived after 15months in substandard international packaging and transportation quality. He packed without a care in the world using poor or second hand packaging and what seems like a hurried job, when he had so much time to do it in.
Steer clear of this man and his services if you want peace of mind during one of life’s most traumatic and stressful exercise.
Our container was held hostage by the shipping company in the port of Vancouver for weeks while [Name removed by Sirelo] ducked and dodged paying the agents, all the while our container was racking up extreme demurrage and detention costs. [Name removed by Sirelo] promised us that he would cover these costs.
After weeks of lies from [Name removed by Sirelo] and to prevent further excessive costs (or even having our container with all our lifelong goods returned to Cape Town) we had to step in to pay the agents, the demurrage and detention costs and the local movers. [Name removed by Sirelo] currently owes us close to R300 000. He continues to lie about paying. And we have found out he has done this multiple times before.
