What makes your company stand out?

Good Service, affordable prices, available any day of the week including holidays.

What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

We have goods in transit insurance that covers for truck hijacking, fire and accidents. We also have all risk insurance that caters for all forms of damages including minor scratches and breakages. Clients will how ever need to declare all their belongings including the total value of goods to be transported. They will be required to pay a percentage of total goods value for all risk insurance.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

Clients should serve themselves money by: Ensuring that they goods are packed neatly plan for a move in time expect delays in delivery

Am still waiting for my Furniture and clothes. They took my stuff last week Thursday and I was never informed that they do not have a branch in Durban so they had to take my stuff from Durban to JHB.
I asked if it's a sharing load, they said yes but was never advised that it would take this long. Tuesday when I called they said the truck will be leaving for CA and I was told I'll get my Stuff on Wednesday. When I called them Wednesday they said the truck is still on the way to CA and it will get to next week 😩😣
Am so frustrated I have interviews to go to, that time all of my bags are with them, still have no idea when I'll be receiving my stuff. Not sure if I will receive them or what.

Five weeks ago, during one of the most traumatic times of my life—my father was hospitalized and had fallen into a coma—we urgently needed to relocate from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth. We chose this moving company based on their promises and assurances.

We were told our furniture would be collected on a Saturday and delivered by Monday. Monday came and went—no delivery. Despite repeated calls, begging, and even threats—amidst emotional turmoil—our belongings only arrived that Thursday afternoon.

We paid extra for bubble wrapping, yet only a few items were properly protected. What followed was appalling:

Our sofa arrived with a tear and was covered in clay and mud.

The rug was similarly filthy.

Boxes were torn open, with items inside damaged or broken.

Our brand-new (R9000) Samsung soundbar, packed in its original box, arrived damaged. Samsung later confirmed it had been dropped, voiding the warranty.

The fridge had deep dents and scratches down to bare metal.


A clothes horse was shattered.

Furniture like desks, bedside tables, and drawers were smeared with muddy handprints.

One of my original artworks was scratched and missing paint.

A washing basket and seven sentimental pot plants never arrived.


Despite numerous follow-ups, six weeks have passed, and still no word on the missing items. I begged for the plants specifically, as they were gifts from my late father’s garden—he passed away on April 11th. These plants held irreplaceable sentimental value. My pleas were met with silence.

The dirt and damage I could learn to live with—but the loss of those plants broke my heart. The company’s lack of accountability, respect, and compassion during an already devastating time is unforgivable.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. When someone is entrusted with your memories, belongings, and peace of mind, basic respect should be a given—not a request.

The most atrocious service ever. If their contact person (his name is [Name removed by Sirelo]) is not lying about the delivery date and time then he's being sarcastic. Not only did the guy flat out refused to give me the contact details for his superior, but his service is nonsensical. The pick up was arranged for the 1st Dec 2023, I waited for them for the whole day, they didn't pitch. They only arrived on the 2nd. Tis is still after I was lied to and I had to be the one continuously facilitating the communication. I had to amend my bus booking, which I was charged extra. The inconsiderate company did not even care to compensate me for that. I thought that would be the end of my troubles. I had requested that the stuff be delivered on the 3rd initially and they eventually delivered on the 8th Dec.after constantly calling and shouting and being lied to about the whereabouts of the truck. I was late twice for work which meant not being paid for the hours not worked, again, they didn't care. The contact person [Name removed by Sirelo] seems to think that apologising will resolve the matter. He even begged me to take my first complaint down saying that I am ruining his reputation. I have asked for his superiors contact details numerous times but has flat out refused to give them to me. I don't know if his grandfather runs the company, but that's surely not how you run a business. He thinks all of this is a joke. He keeps asking me stupid questions and patronising me. I have not even received any formal response to my complaint and any plan of a way forward. The inconsiderate human being keeps thinking that this is a joke. I had no change of clothing while waiting for my things and lost our on money. The drivers are also the worst. They are rude and seem to think that hygiene does not matter, they arrived smelling like skunk.yer they are representing an organosation. I was disgusted by how they presented themselves. They also dragged their feet when unloading. I did not even receive an apology from them. Let's not forget the [Name removed by Sirelo] guy I spoke to from Durban. Same attitude. Lies through his teeth and thinks that everything is a joke as well. I am way beyond angry and I want to know how this excuse of a company will resolve this.Read more

Pls do not hire them to do your move . Very unprofessional . My move from Durban to Jhb was a nightmare with them .

This company is BAD NEWS. DO NOT USE THEM. After I have submitted my inventory list Promise assured me that my move will go as planned. First of all the truck was to small. When they delivered I we realised that they organised a truck that was to small to deliver all of my furniture. The move was in May. I repeatetally called [Names removed by Sirelo]. Empty promises and will not give me owners name or cellphone number. If course they would not offload my furniture before I made a transfer as per quote. They told me a 'few' things left behind but they will deliver. To date and after a lot of calls they are still ignoring me. Their excuse is they still waiting for space on a truck. The furniture that was left behind had a LOT of sentimental value and very expensive. Stay away from these people if you value your furniture and memories.

Everything was in order,they came on time and delivery done on time :). All items were delivered in their original condition and the drivers are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this company ,their quotes are the most reasonable in the market but they don't let that cause for a sloppy service delivery,thanks to the Excuse team :)
