Broke the TV, washing machine, mirrors, bedside stands, and vacuum. Just completely careless. Worst moving company I have ever dealt with.No damage settlement, they just disappear when it comes time to make any sort of claim.

Really disappointed- be very careful when using this company.
Paid in advance.
Half my goods never arrived.
Don't keep to agreed delivery times - you can spend the whole day waiting.
Appears that you have to pay additional fees to prioritize your goods getting delivered in full and on time.
Very stressful - should have known better.

Trash service. If I could rate it in the negatives I would. I now understand the reviews accusing them of insurance robbery. Firstly on the day of the removal they told me they would send four people and then they only sent two and I had to get two other people to assist them and I had to pay them out of my pocket. My goods were damaged,the insurance paid them out,which I have proof of,but they are now refusing to pay me out. The problem for them is now the insurance company wants to collect the goods from me for which they paid out. But Mr Cheap wants to repair it and pocket the rest of the money (after due diligence was done by the insurance and it was ascertained that it can't be fixed,which is why they paid out). They dodge calls like crooks. They ignore e mails and WhatsApp messages. moving is already stressful, please don't traumatise yourself using Mr Cheap. It makes everything so much more difficult. Extremely poor service. I requested a quote and received one. I then found out it was a shared load so requested a dedicated truck. I received a quote almost twice the amount but agreed to it because I was the one requesting a dedicated load. Needless to say it was not. I was robbed. They took my load and someone elses. It wasn't even their truck. They out sourced to another company. Broke some of my items in the move from Durban to cape Town. Arrangements were confirmed for a specific day to pick but they phoned and informed to pick up a day earlier inconveniencing me to find accommodation. In my relocation they also quoted on vehicles moving from Durban to cape Town. I was guaranteed that my vehicle would arrive in cape-town the same day I did. It only arrived a week later. Inconvenienced me and I had to hire car and Uber. Extra costs. When you call offices to speak to [names removed by Sirelo] or even [name removed by Sirelo] they don't take your calls or lie to you about etas. Extremely poor service. They delivered my belongings 2 days late, after I had repeatedly said my dates were not flexible. They didn't give any warning that my dates may not be met.
Then when I emailed unhappily, it took 3 days and another 2 emails before they replied and apologised. The person who I was dealing with has never replied, it took another person to reply to me.

They were one of the cheapest
They arrived at my new address 2 days late
They didnt warn me that my dates may not be met

All our removals are covered with Goods-In-Transit Insurance that covers in the event of Fire, Overturning and Collision and this was communicated to you from the beginning. When you chose to accept our quotation, we sent you a bookings acceptance form with Terms and Conditions that stipulated if you require Full Comprehensive Insurance, you should advise the value of your goods and we'll quote you accordingly. When taking Full Comprehensive Insurance the transporter(Mr Cheap Transport) must professionally wrap your goods and declare the condition of your furniture. You did not take the Full Comprehensive Insurance and on your removal you had already wrapped your own items, so the team could not verify the condition of the goods before the removal. We tried to assist you with a claim even though you did not take out Insurance and we could not verify the condition of your goods, but you refused the payout as the excess was deducted as you would have to release the damaged goods for salvage. We believe that our communication was clear from the start and would have made the payment to you, if your had accepted the payout amount. We have in the interim processed payment back to our Insurers.
