I was initially skeptical due to some poor reviews, but their pricing was the best, and a trusted friend recommended them with no issues in the past—so I gave them a shot.
They were scheduled to collect on Saturday (1 March 2025) at 1PM, but only arrived Sunday at 8AM after poor communication. I had to chase for updates, and was eventually told by a different staff member that they were delayed and would collect at 9PM. Later, I was advised to move pickup to the next morning—which thankfully happened.
Tip: Don’t book travel assuming they’ll arrive as scheduled—you’ll likely pay for rescheduling like I had to.
The movers seemed frustrated about carrying items down stairs, even though I had disclosed and paid for this in advance. Seems the dispatch team hadn’t informed them.
When I asked how they measure bubble wrap, they said they “eyeball it,” which was concerning, but luckily the charge wasn’t far off what I estimated.
Delivery in Pietermaritzburg happened the next day. I had to call repeatedly and request a live location. Important: Before handing over your items, confirm that they deliver to your specific area—one driver casually mentioned they don’t deliver in townships, which could’ve been a major issue.
The offloading went smoothly. The team was friendlier, though clearly worn out from the stairs. Thankfully, everything arrived intact. I strongly recommend being present at delivery—some of my items were nearly left on the truck (shared load).
Suggestion: They need a better system to label items by customer—color-coding would help avoid mix-ups.

There are things they could improve on though. Firstly, the quote should be generated in a pdf file so you can download and use it if you need to request funds from somewhere e.g. from another company. Secondly, invoices should be sent automatically after the deposit is paid without having to request manually or at least there should be some notification that the invoice will be sent or you can request it at any time. Thirdly, they should have a way to track the delivery and maybe a platform where you can check the progress be it on their site or whatsapp chatbot. Also like there should be an estimated date when the goods will arrive, just so you can plan accordingly.
