The CEO (?) was more worried about his payment than the efficacy of his staff. I had to settle my account in full before the truck was off-loaded at my destination, which is unprecedented as I could not even see all the furniture and many boxes were out of sight. The truck was very compact for the volume of our load. Only 3 personnel, one driver and 2 workers, which we had to supplement to prevent a full day of loading. My extra staff had to assist and eventually ended-up doing approx. 70% of the loading. The driver was responsible and in charge but somehow the loading was not well controlled, eg fragile boxes was underneath heavier boxes and even other pieces of furniture. The DRIVER was never in charge and the 2 other assistants were frequently on the phone and eventually the extra staff had to cover their shortcomings. I WILL not recommend Efficient Logistics....there is still a lot to be learnt, BUT not at my expense. Interaction with the CEO became unpleasant as he distrusted my input, eg only paid R500 for breakages after I provided his with only 2 items (+- Rk1)......doubting and distrusting your patron is a huge error of judgment. The saying of 'buying cheap, leads to being very expensive' is surely true in this instance. I did not expect this unprofessional treatment and it was a valuable lesson learnt......That is all THANK YOU for allowing this negative yet constructive feedback. Thank you Sir for your response. From day one when we met you, we explained that you will pay 50% before the truck leaves Centurion and the final payment before the truck off loads. Unfortunately as a company, due to the money that we have lost in the past, we do not offload before we receive full payment. This is a company policy, we presented this to you at the start of our discussion and you accepted our conditions, you accepted the invoice with these conditions clearly.

For a long distance move, we explained to you that you will receive 2 helpers and a driver as the law does not allow more than three people to sit in front of the truck. We discussed this with you before and you agreed.

We provided you with an 8 ton truck because that is what you accepted, we could have given you our 15 ton truck but you were not willing to pay for that.

As explained to you before, we paid you the R500 for a pot stand that was broken, the picture frame, it was broken by your own shuttle that you hired. You hired your own shuttle to move furniture from the truck that was parked outside into your complex.

About the helpers that were always on the phone, we will investigate that but this will be the first time.I always receive good reports concerning these two helpers. We wish you had brought this to our attention on the day so that we could have addressed it promptly. We kept phoning you to check how the offloading is going and you never mentioned that the helpers were not working.

We are disappointed that you decided to take this review just because we were not willing to pay for the picture frame that was damaged by your shuttle removal company. We contacted a post stand supplier in your area and we sent you the funds to replace your pot stand that our personnel broke. We honestly think that it is not fair for you to require us to pay for the photo frame that your shuttle team broke. It is tantamount to fraud.

We loaded the truck on Friday, and only offloaded on a Sunday, we never charged you for the extra day storage fee. You know very well that it was month end, we had to cancel other bookings to accommodate you. It is very unfortunate that you are overlooking everything that went well and choosing to focus on the R500 for the frame that we are lawfully not obliged to pay you.
